In April I went along with a four wheel drive club I belong to (NAXJA) for a drive along the historic Mojave Road. We drove from the California / Nevada border (around Interstate 40) to roughly Baker, California. Being that it was April, and there had just been a weekend of rain the desert was even more beautiful than usual as it was in bloom.
